hi this is Jen from ttpm and I'm here with neighborhood sharks from war Brook press and written by Katherine Roy and the countdown to Shark Week 2014 is on or at least it is for me this is a great book for shark fans as well as those interested in simply learning more about this giant sea Predator as the book notes most people both fear and admire the great white sharks fierce hunting skills and this book gives you a deeper inside look into those skills starting from their hunting grounds off the California coastline this is a more scientific oriented book that takes readers inside all the details about what great whites want and need to eat what attracts them to their prey how they move through the water is there sensitive eyesight and endless teeth also interesting is the discussion of how the scientist lower these great beasts into tag and track their movements overall this gives readers an up-close look at these natural Predators as much as we enjoy the topic of this book in the interesting facts throughout there are however use things to note in this book although beautifully depicted can be a bit graphic at times in addition to text can be a bit dry for a 7 year old it's better with an adult or more for educational reading these Point decide though shark fans will really be enthralled with the new information Post in the 48 pages of the stock another thing to note is that our copy you see here is an advance copy but the actual book is available in hardcover format once again neighborhood sharks is from roaring book and it's written and illustrated by Katherine Roy for more information on this and other books head over to ttpm or subscribe to our YouTube channel for more great reviews everyday
