When reviewing responses to the facilities planning community survey so far, we noticed many questions about grade level configuration in the proposed facilities options found in the mailed pamphlet and online at 418facilitiesplanning.com. Ann Elliot, USD 418 Board President, shares how the USD 418 Board came to these options using feedback from the community input sessions and the project guiding principles and priorities.

what would a 7 through 12 campus look like there would be a 7 and a 9 through 12 building two separate buildings on the same location 11:53 on one campus that in different buildings are blessed ability with learning of logistic and safety for example we have many 8th grade to go to the high school currently for academic math English language arts or other academic sneeze when they're all on the same side they can simply walk to another building as opposed to being transported or they lose education time time with their peers in another teacher the same is true for our staff we have many death to go between two different buildings multiple times a day losing education time teaching time time with their peers time with their other it is time to plan it's also a safety issue when we have two bus and transport children multiple times a day to multiple buildings only academic but athletic and other activities the two options have two different configurations for grade levels pre-k through six option one has a pre-k through 6 in for elementary building this does not mean that all grades pre-k through six would be in one Elementary it means that over the course of time we would speak more with Educators staff and students about what would be the most effective way to configure those Elementary grade levels it could be that pre-k through 4 would be an awesome Elementary's and 56 would be in a different Elementary simply means that pre-k through six would be housed in some sort of figuration in the Four elementary schools that currently then option to include the configuration to have prepaid through 4 at Roosevelt Lincoln and Eisenhower with the Fifth and Third Raiders at the current Middle School site this allows for many efficiencies with both our building capacities and ours death float at those three Elementary buildings in our current notebook please participate and provide your input survey at 4:18 facilities planning.com or scan the QR code on your mail order that was received this week we are seeking all input and it's valuable to us as we continue to focus and try and solve our drifting in a collision please complete the survey for a November 27th thank you
