Dear Bullpup Families,

Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year!
We’re so excited to begin another year filled with opportunities to learn, grow, and make meaningful connections.

As we kick off the year, here are a few ways you can help support your student’s success:

✅ Stay Involved – Keep in touch with teachers and stay informed on your student’s progress.
✅ Encourage Balance – Help them manage time between school, activities, and rest.
✅ Support Study Habits – Create a space and routine for effective studying.
✅ Prioritize Attendance – Being at school every day makes a big difference.
✅ Promote Well-being – Encourage healthy eating, sleep, and stress management.
✅ Be a Role Model – Show a positive attitude toward school and learning.

This year, we’re placing a strong focus on attendance. Good attendance guarantees success! Being at school daily helps students stay on track academically, build important life skills, connect socially, and prepare for future success.  Please review our updated attendance policy in the MHS handbook. Additionally, I warmly invite you to join us this fall for a meaningful and collaborative book study of The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt.

This timely and powerful book explores the growing impact of technology and social media on the well-being and development of our youth. As a school community dedicated to supporting the whole child, we believe this is an important conversation to have—together.
